About Willette

Willette Jones Whitmore, although a native of St. Louis, Missouri. now resides in Long Island, New York. She is a Medical Scientist by training, but she was inspired to create Lette’s Decorate! in 2001 to air her more creative side. What began as a hobby has flourished into a full-service business. Her passion for decorating and natural eye for good design has afforded her the privilege to work in many homes, venues, and businesses. She offers each client personal attention to detail, professionalism, and exceptional design ideas. Lette’s Decorate! allows Willette to take a creative yet practical approach to design and decorating, while giving her clientele the benefit of her wide range of experience with various design styles and concepts.

Her personal decorating style is warm contemporary with a particular emphasis on staging. Her portfolio demonstrates an expressive use of color, clean lines, and classic touches to produce a “high-end” look on a sensible budget. Each of her designs exemplify beautiful solutions that address the client’s desires and often exceeds their expectations. She can take an ordinary room from “fair” to “fabulous” in no time!

Willette doesn’t do it all alone. Lette’s Decorate! comprises a group of dedicated and talented professionals and vendors, each lending their skills and time to bring her decorative ideas to life. The success of Lette’s Decorate! is solely dependent on the cooperation of many talents, especially those of her assistants, staff and contractors.

Lette’s Decorate’s! accomplishments are numerous. Willette and her company have been featured in multiple news publications and she was named Grand Prize Winner of a tri-state area Designers’ Challenge competition sponsored by an acclaimed bulider, Taylor-Morley Homes, in 2006. Her  commercial work was on showcase for 4 consecutive years in a premier real estate model home in St. Louis, Missouri, Bellefontaine Estates. She is highly sought after for her decorating talent by home owners, business owners, and party planners alike seeking to achieve unique and stunning designs for their interior spaces and events.

Moving forward, Willette Jones Whitmore intends to expand Lette’s Decorate! to achieve even greater recognition and to establish a new client base in Long Island, New York. Willette’s aspirations are to continue beautifying spaces one home, one commercial space and one event at a time until she provides “Affordable and Aesthetically Pleasing Designs for your Home, Business, or Event” the world over.
